A rough idee is the start.  An experience, music, a landscape, cityscape or sunset inspire her.

In her studio she puts together a range of colors and choice of materials. Sometimes a dozen different colors, sometimes just one color.

The paint goes straight from the bottle on the canvas and she  starts. She follows the flow and adjusts with color and structure (salt, coffee, cement, metallic paint). Until it feels complete.

When creating she enters a state of concentration she calls 'The Vortex'.

Intuitively she translates on canvas whats going on inside her mind. The outside world disappears.

Music is inextricably connected with her work.

As she says herself: "Music guides my tools".

No brushes are used, but window wipers, construction tools and large painting knives.

With songs that she listens to while creating the work, a playlist on Spotify is put together.

The title comes to mind like a poem during creating.

The finished work of art brings together visual art and music.  And creates an experience itself.  

It evokes a glimpse of ‘The Vortex’ and almost takes you to another dimension while you experience the work of art.
